CC DANCEPARTY IV PICS (Hartford CT)

Saturday November 9th was the 4th official Cardboard City Dance Party Plus featuring live DJ sets, some hip hop sets, and a jolly good fucking time. There were a couple fights by some loaded individuals. Very real. Everything was happening in slow motion so for some reason I saw it all happen. I usually look away unintentionally when something happens and completely miss it but I was on point this time although I consumed more alchohol than I normally do; thanks to some very nice people. CC parties rule and are always electric so if you havent been to one..come holler next time.

Saturday October 20th was one of many CC Danceparties and the Sports "I'm Hungry" CD release at the Knitting Factory in NYC. Supposedly they never had that many people in the downstairs room for a non-performance style event but I'm chalking it up to being a testament to "how we do." Filled with all your favorite Cardboard City affilliates, this party featured DJ sets from Sports (Glue and Daryl) along with Chauncey Turbo, F. Sean, and Shane Daddy and some other dudes that I forgot but deserve an honorable mention. Ben Grimm also grabbed the mic. So shit was crackin' and there is another one on November 9th in Conecticut....and you are all welcome.

Friday October 19th was the Definitive Jux CMJ Showcase at the Williamsburg Music Hall in Brooklyn. I never played CMJ before and I think it was an all around success as I don't plan on playing any more shows until my record drops in January. Hope you soaked it up bitches! The Company Flow reunion segment was dope as well as Del making an appearance, rocking, and announcing his new album will be released on Jux. Anyway, my new album comes out on January 29th. Did I say that? Yeah. A bunch of friends showed up from TCK to Cardboard City. If anything I'd say it was pretty memorable.
